Here’s an 000 size guitar with 000-style un-scalloped top braces. I built it to be a rhythm thumper, but it’s not bad for picking either. Folks picked and thumped on this one at events last summer (2008) and I haven’t had any complaints.
I’ve recently finished an Oregon Myrtle OM with scalloped braces and a Figured Walnut Dreadnaught with a bearclaw Sitka spruce top..
I’ve got several sets of koa in the shop and am planning to build a concert-sized koa guitar along the lines of this uke, though with a spruce top.
This year -- 2009 -- I’ll be showing my instruments at:
The Wachusett Valley Folk Festival in Westminster, Massachusetts August 9, 2009
Clinton, Massachusetts Olde Home Day September 12, 2009
